On most yachts, the helm is a collection of separate systems that happen to share the same dashboard. Navigation is here. Radar is over there. Power management lives on its own panel somewhere else entirely. You learn to operate each one on its own terms.
Ducari built something different.
The IntelliTouch™ Command Center is the centerpiece of the Ducari spaceship helm – a single, unified system that puts every critical function of the yacht at the captain’s fingertips, displayed across three 22-inch Simrad® NSO® 4 multi-touch monitors. It’s not a collection of tools bolted together. It’s one command center, built from the ground up around a single idea: total control should feel effortless.
Designed for Simplicity
Every one of the system’s three displays runs on Simrad’s latest NEON™ operating system, and the philosophy behind it shows in everything you touch. NEON was designed around one core principle: simplicity. However, the operating system is built to make it feel intuitive. Nothing about commanding a Ducari should feel like learning a new piece of software. It should feel like the boat is simply doing what you want, the moment you want it.
Custom-Built for Ducari
IntelliTouch™ isn’t a standard marine electronics package dropped into the helm. Ducari worked directly with Simrad’s UI/UX design team to build an interface exclusively for Ducari boats, one that incorporates Ducari branding, vessel-specific graphics, and button and function placement designed around how a Ducari is actually piloted. The result is an experience that feels personalized and purpose-built, because it is. You won’t find this interface on any other yacht on the water.
Above, Around, and Below
A helm is only as good as what it can see. Alongside the NSO 4 displays, a Ducari is equipped with a Simrad HALO® Open Array radar for long-range situational awareness and a high-performance 1kW thru-hull transducer for sonar visibility beneath the hull. Together, they give the captain a complete picture with navigation, radar, and sonar all running through the same three screens. It’s the kind of layered awareness that used to require multiple systems and multiple screens. On a Ducari, it’s just part of the view.
Power, Reimagined
Here’s where IntelliTouch™ goes further than most helm systems even attempt to go: power management.
Ducari yachts are equipped with an advanced Mastervolt® lithium-ion power system, and rather than living on its own separate panel, it’s fully integrated into the IntelliTouch™ system. From the same Simrad displays used to navigate and monitor the vessel, owners can check battery status, energy consumption, charging performance, and overall power system health in real time.
This integration isn’t just a convenience – it changes how a Master volt-equipped Ducari can be run. The lithium-ion system supports on board electrical loads while reducing reliance on continuous generator operation, which means more of the boat’s comforts can run quietly on stored battery power. Whether you’re underway, entertaining guests at anchor, or spending an extended stretch off the grid, you have instant visibility into exactly how much power you have and how it’s being used – informing real decisions in real time.
A True Command Center
That’s the real story behind IntelliTouch™. It isn’t about how many features are packed into the helm, it’s about how invisible the complexity becomes once you’re behind the wheel. Navigation, radar, sonar, and power, all built into a custom interface, all running on an operating system designed around ease of use, all accessible from the same three displays.
One helm. One system. Total command.
